First of all visit you doctor for medical clearance. Then begin walking, perhaps just 10 minutes per day, and complete some light stretches. As you get fitter you can increase the time each week.
Try swimming which takes some pressure off your joints or running in deep water.
To assist in weight loss and increase your fitness, strength and flexibility, as well as provide a sense of wellbeing, we strongly recommend that you incorporate exercise into your daily life.
Unfortunately, you can’t lose fat from just one section of your body - you will lose it from all over. However you can ‘spot’ train to tone up any area that needs work.
As mentioned before, swimming takes some of the pressure off your joints so it would be an ideal way get exercise into your day. If you don’t have access to a pool, consider attempting a walk later in the day when your joints have had an opportunity to loosen up.
